Summer school?

So I am still at school. Why I thought this would be a good decision, I have no idea. Despite my constant reminders and emails of assignment deadlines, I am still managing to have some fun. My summer to do list is getting quite long and I am excited to start checking things off.

So far this spring I have learned:

• Daily explorations are essential to sanity. South of campus is so beautiful.
• The 3 levels of separation we talked about in sociology class is even more applicable here at byu. It is so easy to make a connection with the people here.
• Cooking sucks. I just never want to do it. I walk back and forth from my fridge to my pantry for 10 minutes and leave the house with an empty stomach. My poor children.
• The church is so incredibly true. The book of mormon testifies of Christ. 

It has been a good start to a great summer. Mostly I am excited to make these.

And it is not because of Tangled.

Roller coaster

This week has been insane.

Finals, mission calls, job interviews, goodbyes, moving, and spring prepping.

and now it is over.

Just like that.

I feel like everything is changing. 

And the thing is, that it is.

My friends are moving away, going on missions, going on adventures.

And so am I. 

These past couple weeks have been a roller coaster. 

I don't know how to feel but honestly I have given up trying.

Right now I am waiting in line. Gripping the railings. 

And I am ready to ride this thing they call life.

So here is the story of Clay. 

Once Clay was really cool. 

So we were friends.

Sometimes we go on adventures.

 Listen to good music

 dance

 eat pizza

 and make pottery (more or less).

 Then he got his mission call.

 He became 10 TIMES COOLER.

 I guess that is what mission calls do. Especially when they are to Canada..
Needless to say,
 They are sending a pretty great guy to a pretty great place.

 I came home for the weekend and my mother was in the garage burning journals. Typical Friday afternoon. So obviously I pulled out my camera and took pictures. My mom is weirrrrd.

Life Goes on.

Today was definitely one of those days. You know the days I am talking about. Where nothing seems to go right. When you are being so grumpy but you continue just because you would be giving the world satisfaction if you decided to feel otherwise. Funny though how sometimes days like these are so hard to be mad at the world. Because light can always shine through the darkness. Good friends always come through. And beauty is easily found. When things get hard, life goes on.

Man I miss the girl. She sang in Conference Saturday and I got to talk to her for a whole 16 minutes. Now only another 16 months til I see her....

Man good thing the church is true.
