Infinity reasons to be happy.

I have lots of days like this. I wake up and think. "today is going to suck".
But the truth is, it is not that much fun to have sucky days. But that is how it happened today.

Then I decided to look and my pictures and I realized that I am on lucky lady. I have so many people in my life, so many things that make me happy. But sometimes I forget.

1. Mary is the breath to my life. She is all nice and sweet on the outside but on the inside is this crazy animal. She is still nice and sweet though. Mary never ceases to make me laugh. Even if it is simply by her laughing. I would probably be insane without her in my life.

2. Miss Kylie is a gem. I am seriously have the best job in the world that i get to work with this character. She is full of energy and fun and makes me appreciate the simplicity in life. Whether is be by running through sprinklers, pretending to be dinosaurs, or dancing in public places.

3. My roommates. They are wonderful. I already to talked about mary. Alena is also the best. She dang funny and makes me realize how good my life really is. She lets me borrow her clothes and she listens to me when I am anxious. She even scratches my back. Someday i would like to be just like her.

 4. My best friend came home from Texas this week. I think I forgot how much I missed her. These photos are a perfect example of how immature we are. But I love it. She is a solid lady.

5. My brother & sisters. They are my best friends. I don't know how so many crazies got put into one family but I am dang happy about it. Nothing is better than going home to these faces.

So the point is. most of the time things aren't as bad as you think they are. Life goes on I guess. I have infinity reasons to be happy. But here is five.

Remember that time.

This week has been an adventure.
Honestly probably one of the best weeks of my life. I would like to remember it always.

Let me explain by giving a quick overview;

Monday

Monday at work I chased a robber all around byu campus. The police asked me lots of questions and I watched a old policeman chase another old man down. at byu.

Tyler & Brady & Alex came over that night. Tyler fell into duck pond which was potentially the funniest thing I have ever seen. Later we drove up to the Y and sat on Brady's truck. We talked about life and other deep things. Then Tyler said "Let's go adventuring" and jumped down the mountain. I like those boys. 

Tuesday

Happy UTAH DAY. and my Papa's birthday. We went to Olive Garden and I ate octopus. I am cultured. 

Later Tyler picked me up and we explored down town. We looked at cool sculptures and buildings and walked around the capital. I am grateful I have such awesome friends. Tyler is going to do great things on his mission to the Baltic states. He is a keeper.

 

Wednesday

I hung out with Kylie Anne who just got back from her study abroad in Russia. We played with a T-ranchula and ate cereal and slept during the Illusionist.

 

Thursday

I went to Band of Horses with Evan kid & Sarah G. The show was very enjoyable despite the drugs. We drove to provo then back to salt lake because someone who must not be named forgot his keys. Thank goodness he is a fine young man and I enjoy talking to him until 3 in the morning. Worth the gas I would say. 

Friday

I went to the Riverwoods with one of my clients. It started out as an innocent walk and resulted in two dripping-wet girls. Thank you fountains that shoot out of the ground.

I went golfing for the first time, and yes, hitting the ball is difficult. I had a blast despite my sucky-ness. thank you Mac.

I am grateful for this week. I am grateful for friends that do fun things with me. I am grateful for rain. and my job. and Wendy's, and the Lumineers, and my mom&dad, and broken shoes, and old buildings, and deep conversations, and slurpies, and my brother & sisters, and missionaries and the gospel. I like this week.

Once I thought all I did was work. because for real. I worked a lot. But then I realized that I still had fun. It is just like magic. I know some of this may look weird. But I have learned to enjoy the silly-ness & spontaneity of life. So enjoy.

"Work"

So I have realized lately that I am really lucky. I pretty much have the best jobs in the world.

1. The BYU Bowling and Games Center. Who wouldn't want to work at a Games Center?? It is such a fun environment and I get to watch people bowl for hours on end. Sometimes I sneak in the redemption case. No biggy. Not to mention the perk  of getting free bowling.

2. I recently started working for an organization called RISE Services. I am an adviser and I take troubled teens or teens with mental disabilities out into the community and pretty much just do fun things. It is a blast honestly. I am not aloud to post pictures. But honestly guys, these kids are great. I already have the nickname "Meniqua" from one of my clients.

 I am actually pretty excited for this summer when I will be working 50+ hours a week.

Spring Blues

The end of the semester is always brutal. I think this semester has been the worst though. I have pity parties all day I hardly have anytime for anything else.

Thank goodness for my MCOM 320 class....
Professor Clarke challenged us to find someone who was more stressed than we were, (which I thought would be impossible) and do a service to them.

I went home the other day and my roommate was having a case of the poops. So instead of writing my research paper. I talked with her, watch Matilda, and got icecream. Funny thing is, I think I helped myself in the process.

So thank you Mr. Shayne Clarke for keeping my life in perspective. In the big picture, what do the little things matter? It doesn't matter if I get an "A" in my classes (though it would be nice "wink wink"). It was nice to take a break from the stresses of life and serve another who needed it. Thank goodness finals will be over in a week.

Skype Party.

Sometimes I miss my family. This sunday I had the pleasure of skyping them after church. Every time we skype, the ipad ends up being put in the bathroom. Then I look at the bathroom ceiling for a couple minutes. I usually scream until my little sister comes and gets me. This sunday Dallin had a sunburn (hence why he is shirtless) so we had a dance party of course! I was just in my little apartment by myself jamming to some music with my siblings.

Wish lauren was here sometimes. 

But the point is, I freaking love my family. Heavenly Father must know me really well because we are pretty much perfect for each other. I honestly have no idea what I would do without them. 

So even though I am so incredibly stressed with two jobs and spring classes, it doesn't really matter. Cause my family is really great and I am only lucky girl. That's it for today folks.
